Douglas K. KnightStockholder
Douglas K. Knight is a Stockholder and has practiced at Reid and Riege since 1992. Doug provides counsel to jointly-administered employee benefit funds established under collective bargaining agreements, as well as to coalitions of health funds and individuals who may be entitled to benefits from such funds. Doug has extensive experience dealing with the day-to-day needs of funds, such as eligibility and distribution inquiries, questions regarding plan operation and administration, claims procedures and qualified domestic relations and medical child support orders. Doug also has significant experience with the regulatory entities which oversee each fund, including the Internal Revenue Service and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Doug is the Chair of the Multiemployer Benefit Plans Practice Area and is also a member of the firm's Marketing Committee.
