Greg R. Barringer
StockholderGreg listens closely to clients’ objectives and then clearly outlines how those objectives can be met.
Greg practices in the areas of estate planning and probate. He works to ensure that clients’ financial affairs are in order so that upon their passing, their estates are distributed in the manner they intended with an eye toward minimizing taxes. Additionally, he advises surviving family members on how to effect the estate plan and assists in the preparation and filing of probate forms and tax returns.
In addition to being familiar with complicated tax rules and concepts, Greg listens closely to clients’ objectives and then clearly outlines how those objectives can be met. With 30 years of legal experience, he is adept at summarizing the consequences of clients’ objectives.
Greg has taught numerous seminars to other attorneys and potential clients on topics such as drafting of wills, drafting of trust agreements and estate taxation. He particularly enjoys helping clients understand intricate tax and legal concepts that have a bearing on their objectives, and using his knowledge and experience to advise his clients to consider other avenues that can still achieve their objectives without causing unintended results.
