Craig L. SylvesterOf Counsel

Craig L. Sylvester has practiced with Reid and Riege since graduating from law school in 1981.  Craig served as the firm's President and Managing Partner from 2004 to 2016.  His practice consists largely of acting as general counsel to several closely held companies, including family owned businesses.  He also has represented publicly owned corporations, is counsel to several private equity investment firms, and often works in the areas of private placements and mergers and acquisitions.  His efforts on behalf of privately owned businesses include structuring the business organization and its capitalization; coordinating the owners' business planning with their estate plans; and preparing stockholder, partnership and other business contracts.
