Reid and Riege Welcomes Attorney Charlotte Armour to Litigation Practice
Hartford, Conn. — Reid and Riege, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorney Charlotte Armour has joined the firm as an Associate in its Litigation Practice Group.
Charlotte brings significant courtroom experience and a strong background in trial advocacy, strategic case development, and negotiation. Her experience handling complex, high-stakes matters strengthens the firm's ability to provide exceptional representation to clients across a wide range of litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Charlotte served as an Assistant District Attorney with the New York County District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure, she prosecuted a broad range of felony matters, including fraud, assault, and other violent and non-violent offenses. She later joined the Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Bureau within the Special Victims Division, where she focused exclusively on prosecuting domestic violence felonies and sexual assault cases. In recognition of her leadership and legal acumen, Charlotte was promoted to a supervisory role, overseeing and mentoring sixteen first-year Assistant District Attorneys.
“We are thrilled to welcome Charlotte to the firm,” said Thomas Kasper, President of Reid and Riege, P.C. “Her impressive trial experience, leadership skills, and dedication to excellence make her an outstanding addition to our Litigation Practice. Charlotte's ability to navigate complex legal matters and advocate effectively for her clients aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.”
Charlotte's extensive courtroom experience includes trying multiple violent felony jury trials to verdict and securing convictions in each case. Her background provides a valuable perspective and skill set that she now brings to representing businesses, fiduciaries, property owners, and individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters.
A graduate of Boston University School of Law, Charlotte earned her Juris Doctor before beginning her legal career in New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Law & Policy, magna cum laude, with a minor in Spanish from Dickinson College. She is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York.
Charlotte will focus her practice on litigation matters, applying the discipline, preparation, and advocacy skills she developed in some of New York's most challenging courtrooms to help clients achieve successful outcomes.
