Reid and Riege Names Thomas R. Kasper as its New President
Reid and Riege, P.C. is pleased to announce that Thomas R. Kasper has been named its new President.
The Stockholders of Reid and Riege have selected Thomas R. Kasper to succeed Jon P. Newton, who has been the firm’s President since 2016. Tom becomes the eighth president to lead the firm since it was founded in Harford in 1950. A Hartford-based firm with 34 attorneys, Reid and Riege also has offices in New Haven and West Hartford. Reid and Riege is a full-service firm providing legal counsel to publicly traded companies, closely held businesses, financial institutions, health and human services entities, and multiemployer and single employer benefit plans, and has a significant estate planning and settlement practice providing sophisticated planning, settlement, trust administration, and fiduciary services.
Tom has been with the firm since 1999. His practice is focused on commercial real estate and general business representation. Since 2017, Tom has led the firm’s Business Services, Commercial Real Estate, Finance & Lending, Nonprofit Organizations, and Health & Human Services practices while also serving on the firm’s Management Committee.
